Our Members range from beginners to master and
professional artists. Many have won national and
international awards and have appeared in art
magazines. Many of them teach art for children and
students of all levels.

We are traditional artists. Styles range from realism,
impressionism, abstract, and more.
Artist's medias include fine painting (oil, watercolor,
and acrylics), pastels, colored pencil, mixed media,
classical, photography, illustration, drawings,
crafts (3d/woodwork and general/wearable) and sculpture.

We appear in many local events (Concert in the Park,
Pan American Fiesta, etc) where we have our own
booths, selling art. You can watch us paint, buy our
work,order paintings, or simply meet the artists.

Lakewood Artist Guild

is a non-profit corporation. It was established in
1957 and it is one of the oldest art guilds in the
state of California!
LAG has provided quality art programs to
the public of all ages ever since.
We are aware that art is a fundamental piece
in human experience.We strive to promote
local artists and to bring the appreciation of art
from the studios and galleries into our everyday life.
